Firstly there is no quick fix, fad diet here. It's no surprise that they don't work. I am here to support you with healthy eating and exercise and help you easily make it part of your life. Whether you are looking to lose weight, gain weight, run a 5k, 10k, swim in an event, swim the channel or would just like to master a press up I can help you feel wonderful while you reach your potential.

I offer online coaching programs, you can choose from fitness coaching only or nutrition and coaching.
I also offer both of these programmes combined with swim training.
All my coaching programs begin with a free online consultation to have an open and honest discussion on your current diet & lifestyle & your health & fitness goals. There is no obligation to take out a plan afterwards, but if you do I will then design a program that suits you, and support you on your road to achieving your goals.
I require a minimum 3 months commitment on all my plans because it takes time to make sustained change.

WHY?
So, how did the chubby girl at school (yep, I was always given the shot putt on sports day, although I don't know why I was terrible at it!) end up a health & fitness coach? Well, I have Covid and a disastrous relationship to thank for that.
When lockdown hit, I was climbing the walls by the second round of restrictions. So, when an opportunity to work at a Covid Test Centre popped up via my job as a swimming teacher, I jumped at it. I was working with other fitness professionals (at normal times) in a converted sports centre. It was a lifeline - full of laughter, there were inspiring conversations and friendships forged in layers of PPE and haze in hand sanitiser.
Fast forward a year, and after the that disastrous relationship ended, I found my solace in the gym. to my surprise, it wasn't the intimidating place I once thought - it was more like a youth club for adults! Everyone was in their own world, mostly checking themselves out in the mirrors, (or taking Instagram selfies), and no one was actually watching me. I liked it. I liked it, it made me smile.
I started trying new things - Dance classes, Circuits, Suspension training, and doing Kettlebells outside in the sunshine, I got back into running, everything just felt easier. Something had shifted. Moving - indoors, outdoors, anywhere - became something I genuinely loved. My mindset had changed, my body flet stronger, and best of all, I felt like me again.
SWIMMING WAS GREAT, BUT COMBINING IT WITH ALL THESE OTHER THINGS? GAME-CHANGER
I wanted other to experience that same feeling. With encouragement and support, I trained as Level 2 Gym Instructor then gained a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training. Since then, I've qualified in Advanced Nutrition, Sports Massage Therapy and Exercise Referral, which means I can help people with health conditions to exercise safety.
Health & Fitness Coaching isn't about lifting heavy weight or getting beasted in a boot camp. It's about finding what excites you about movement, what makes you feel good - and helping you make it a part of your life. And and that's something I have realised I love doing!

ABOUT ME

I’m an artist, outdoor swimmer, and health and fitness coach, living in the hills of North Wales with my partner, AJ, and our little dog, Bella. Originally from the stunning New Forest, I often return to visit family.
My project, #swimsnowdonia, was named one of The Guardian’s “10 Most Inspiring Adventures” and has been the focus of several short films, including a music video for the band Elbow. Afterglow, a film capturing my passion for creativity and cold-water swimming, won the Best Woman in Adventure Gold Award at Sheffield Adventure Film Festival, Best Short Film at the Four Seasons Film Festival, and was selected for the Patagonia Film Festival in Santa Monica.
I was featured in the first San Miguel Rich List, celebrating those who value experiences over possessions, and was named one of Britain’s 101 Adventurers. My work and story have been highlighted in an ITV documentary, The Mountain, which followed the lives of those living and working around Yr Wyddfa, as well as on BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and Channel 5.
In addition to my creative and coaching work, I regularly write fitness features for Outdoor Swimmer magazine.
